The Hops and Hawks entered tonight's series with matching 4-4 records atop the Northwest League South Division.
Following a one-out walk, the Hops made errors in the field on four of the next six hitters. By the time the dust had settled, two runners had come across to stake the Hawks to a 2-0 lead.
