The Sacramento River Cats (16-27) dropped the fourth and final game of their series against the Nashville Sounds (21-20) by a score of 9-3.

Sacramento starter Dan Slania cruised through the first two innings, not allowing a hit while striking out two. The trouble started in the third however as Nashville rocked Slania for four runs and rolled from there. The Sounds put up five runs over the next four frames and held the Sacramento offense scoreless for the third time this series.
Third baseman Jae-Gyun Hwang drove in the three River Cats runs in the ninth inning with a three-run bomb, his third of the year. He now has a team-leading 22 RBI and three games with three RBI.
The River Cats will welcome the Memphis Redbirds to town and begin a four-game set starting tomorrow night. On the hill for Sacramento will be right-hander Tyler Beede (2-2, 3.30) up against Memphis' righty Mike Mayers (3-4, 5.27). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. (PT) and the game can be heard live online at rivercats.com and on the air on Money 105.5 FM.
