Indians Salvage Twin Bill Split with 9-5 Triumph

Spokane, Wash. - Spokane rebounded from a 3-2 defeat in game one of today's twin bill with a 9-5 game two triumph over the AquaSox in front of 6,908 fans at Avista Stadium for the Halloween & Fireworks Night Doubleheader presented by Silverwood Theme Park & US Foods. TOP PERFORMERS

Spokane, Wash. - Spokane rebounded from a 3-2 defeat in game one of today's twin bill with a 9-5 game two triumph over the AquaSox in front of 6,908 fans at Avista Stadium for the Halloween & Fireworks Night Doubleheader presented by Silverwood Theme Park & US Foods.

TOP PERFORMERS (GAME TWO)

Mason Albright was sharp once again for the Indians, allowing just one earned run over six innings while striking out four. The southpaw improved to 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in four starts with Spokane since being acquired from the Angels as part of the CJ Cron/Randal Grichuk trade.

Juan Guerrero led the charge on offense for the Indians in game two, clubbing his sixth home run of the season in the first inning as part of a two-hit, three-RBI night. Ryan Ritter (3-4, RBI, R), Benny Montgomery (3 RBI), Parker Kelly (2-for-3, HR, RBI), and Jean Perez (3-for-3, 2 R) all enjoyed big nights at the plate against Everett's pitching staff.

*TOP PERFOMERS (GAME ONE) *

Keegan James allowed just a pair of hits over three scoreless innings of relief.

Braiden Ward and Nic Kent both doubled while Robby Martin singled and stole a base in the loss.
