Somerset’s streak of 10 straight games with a home run came to an end. The pitching staff allowed a season-high 10 runs, including a season-high four home runs on 13 hits, which tied a season-high.

Offensively, the Patriots drew a season-high 12 walks, including three each by Jasson Dominguez and Jeisson Rosario. Dominguez now leads the Eastern League with 28 walks on the season.

RHP Clayton Beeter (2.0 IP, 6 ER, 6 H, 3 BB, 4 K) started for the Patriots and was tagged with the loss, having allowed six earned runs for the first time in his career. It was also the first time in his tenure with the Yankees that Beeter allowed more than one home run in a game.

DH Austin Wells (2-for-3, 3 RBI, R, 2B, K) accounted for two of the Patriots’ three hits, collecting a season-high three runs batted in.
