After a scoreless first inning, Buffalo struck for a big frame in the second. The Bisons loaded the bases with one out and Stevie Berman promptly unloaded them with a grand slam to make it 4-0. Cam Eden then tripled and with two outs Rafael Lantigua legged out an infield single to drive him in and extend the Buffalo lead to 5-0.

Addison Barger began the Buffalo third with a double and maneuvered his way around the bases on a groundball and a sacrifice fly to score, making it 6-0 Bisons.

Eden added a second extra-base hit in the fourth as he swatted a two-run homer, pushing the Buffalo advantage up to 8-0.

The IronPigs got their first hit of the day in the sixth when Matt Kroon doubled to start the frame. After two straight walks loaded the bases, Rafael Marchan stepped up an out later and drilled a two-run double. Drew Ellis then brought in another run with an RBI groundout, cutting the deficit to 8-3.

Buffalo put the game firmly to bed with a huge response in the bottom of the sixth. Damiano Palmegiani drilled a two-run shot and Leo Jimenez brought in two with a base hit to put Buffalo ahead by nine, their largest lead of the night.
