AT THE DISH: In his return to the Isotopes, Pat Valaika finished the game 2-for-3 with two home runs, a solo homer in the third inning and a two-run shot in the seventh … Sam Hilliard delivered the eventual game-winning runs with a two-RBI double in the ninth inning … Yonathan Doza and Brendan Rodgers each finished the game with two hits.
 
TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter Evan Grills took a no-decision after allowing three earned runs on 10 hits, striking out three and walking one over his 5.0 innings on the hill … Matt Pierpont and Jesus Tinoco had scoreless outings out of the bullpen, as did Jairo Díaz who picked up his second save of the 2019 season.
