Jenista, Muller named Farm Bureau Player and Pitcher of the Week
PEARL, MS - Mississippi Braves outfielder Greyson Jenista and left-handed pitcher Kyle Muller have been named Farm Bureau Player and Pitcher of the Week. The awards were given for their performances for the M-Braves from July 22-28.

Jenista, 22, the No. 14 overall prospect for the Atlanta Braves hit .429 (6-for-14) with three runs, three RBI, five walks, one stolen base and a .550 on-base percentage over six games this week. The left-handed batter is currently riding a Double-A high, five-game hitting streak.
Jenista began his time for the M-Braves going 7-for-54, a .130 average, in his first 19 games but has hit .324 (22-for-68) with a .905 OPS, six extra-base hits and 12 RBI over his last 23 games. Overall, the Kansas native is .238 with three home runs, three doubles and 18 RBI over his first 42 games with the M-Braves.
The Atlanta Braves drafted Jenista in the second round (44th overall) in 2018 out of Wichita State.
Muller, 21, the No. 8 overall prospect for the Atlanta Braves made two scoreless starts this past week, allowing no earned runs on 11 hits in 11.1 innings pitched, striking out ten and walking six. He posted a 1.24 WHIP and held the opposition to a .200 batting average. Muller suffered the loss in a 2-0 setback to Jackson in game one of Tuesday's doubleheader, but earned the win in Sunday's 6-1 victory at Mobile. Muller has made three-straight starts since July 16, without allowing an earned run, striking out 15 over 16.2 innings.
Muller became the second Southern League pitcher and third in Double-A baseball to reach 100 strikeouts on July 4. Muller ranks fourth in league with 120 strikeouts on the season, is third and leads the club in innings pitched (111.2), 3rd in 'opponents' batting average (.208) and ninth in ERA (3.14).
The Atlanta Braves drafted Muller in the second round of the 2016 draft (44th overall) out of Dallas Jesuit Prep in Texas.
