The Sea Dogs jumped on the board first, scoring a run in the opening frame on a sacrifice fly by Chris Madera.
Portland added three runs in the fourth inning. Danny Mars nailed an RBI single, and with two outs, Deiner Lopez nailed a two-run triple, increasing the lead to 4-0.
