Jodd Carter Named Player of the Week
Jodd Carter was named the Carolina League Player of the Week by the league office Monday afternoon. The Hillcats outfielder went 10-22 with three doubles, a triple and a home run during the week of July 10-16. He added four RBIs and scored three times in six games for the
Drafted in the 24th round out of Hilo High School in 2014, Carter currently ranks second on the team with 10 home runs. He has 14 doubles three triples as well. The versatile outfielder who has played all three positions this season is batting .266 and is currently on a nine-game hitting streak.
