Johnny Davis, Troy Stokes Jr. and Aaron Wilkerson join Triple-A Colorado Springs for playoffs

Wilkerson, 28, returns to Colorado Springs where he spent the second half of the 2016 season. In a full season with the Double-A Shuckers, Wilkerson went 11-4 with a 3.16 ERA. His 1.07 WHIP was best in the Southern League, and his 143 strikeouts were third. He is scheduled to start game two of the series against the Redbirds on Thursday.
Stokes Jr., 21, joined the Shuckers on July 27 and batted .252 with six home runs and 18 RBI in 35 Double-A games. In a full season between Advanced-A Carolina and Double-A Biloxi, Stokes Jr. hit 20 home runs and stole 30 bases.
Davis, 27, spent the entire 2017 season in Biloxi and led all of Double-A baseball with a league-best 52 stolen bases. His .263 batting average and 133 hits led the Shuckers, and his five home runs and 30 RBI were career highs. Davis was named a Southern League Post-Season All-Star and was named the "Best Hustler" in the league.
The first two games of the PCL Playoffs on Wednesday and Thursday will be played in Memphis. Game three (and four and five, if necessary) will be played in Colorado Springs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
