An inning after entering the game as a pinch-runner, Jose Torres delivered a walk-off single to score Dominic Pitelli and give the Lookouts the 8-7 win over the Montgomery Biscuits.

Chattanooga started the game off strong, scoring in the first and the third to give their starting pitcher, Julian Aguiar the 2-1 lead. Montgomery took the lead, but Aguiar finished the day only allowing three runs in six innings with five strikeouts. He now has a 2.98 ERA on the season.

Trailing 3-2, the Biscuits added two more in the seventh inning to make it 5-2. In the bottom of the inning, Bubba Thompson led off the inning by reaching on an error by Carson Williams. Pitelli then tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly to pull within one. With one out, Nick Northcut tied the game up on a solo home run. The next batter, Ruben Ibarra, was singled and replaced by Jose Torres. After an Ivan Johnson walk, Daniel Vellojin singled to bring home Torres, and Justice Thompson singled to score Johnson.

However, the two-run lead was brief as Rays top prospect Carson Williams hit his second home run of the game, this one a game-tying two-run homer.

In the ninth, Pitelli struck again, belting a leadoff double. The speedster then stole third and scored on Torres' game-winning hit.

Chase Petty is on the mound tomorrow for the Lookouts as they aim to win their first series of the year. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
