Koko's Pop Puts Indians on Top in 7-6 Win

TOP PERFORMERS

Kokoska finished 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and now ranks first in the NWL in OPS (.982), third in average (.308), fourth in home runs (16), sixth in RBI (52), fourth in OBP (.405), and third in total bases (150). The former K-State Wildcat is the only player in the circuit with 15+ home runs and 15+ stolen bases.

Benny Montgomery collected a pair of base knocks to extend his hitting streak to four games. The 20-year-old is now batting .377 (20-for-53) with four doubles, one triple, two home runs, and three stolen bases in the month of July.

Right-hander Keegan James tossed 2.2 scoreless innings of relief while closer Angel Chivilli pitched a clean ninth for his league-leading 15th save.
