North Little Rock, AR-A sold out Dickey-Stephens Park was treated to a late rally by the home team as the Arkansas Travelers came back to top the Tulsa Drillers 4-3 in front of 9,608 on Friday night. The winning rally started with two out and no one on base in the eighth inning with a walk from Ryan Casteel. Later, on consecutive pitches, Tyler Marlette tripled scoring Casteel to tie the game and Dario Pizzano singled to score Marlette for the lead.
Moments That Mattered

  • Ryan Casteel hit his third homer in two night as he drove the first pitch of the bottom of the second 413 feet to left-center field.
  • Tulsa's 20-year old Yusniel Díaz hit his first career Double-A homer in the fourth, a three-run shot, to put Tulsa on top.
  • Reliever Ralston Cash worked two scoreless innings out of the bullpen against his former team to keep the game close late.
  • Tyler Marlette's line shot towards the right field corner just eluded Diaz and got to the fence with Casteel racing around from first to just beat the throw to the plate.
  • After lefty Brian Moran was brought in from the bullpen, Dario Pizzano lined his first pitch into right field for the game-winning hit.
