The Chattanooga Lookouts had a 2-1 lead entering the top of the ninth inning, but could not close it out to send the game into extras. Once in extra innings, the Smokies broke the game wide open, scoring six runs in the 10th.

Lookouts starting pitcher Julian Aguiar had a great start for the home team, only allowing one run in five innings while striking out four batters. Aguiar's only blemish of the day was in the fourth on a Moises Ballesteros home run.

In the bottom of the fourth, Chattanooga seized back the lead on a Nick Northcut two-run double. After Aguiar left the game, Carson Rudd and Eddy Demurias combined for three scoreless innings. Up one run Zach Maxwell entered the game to close it but walked in the tying run. In extras, Tennessee used two hits, three walks, and an error to put up six runs to put the game away.

Next week the Lookouts head to Birmingham to take on the division-leading Birmingham Barons. The team returns home on May 21 to face the Mississippi Braves for six games.
