This season, Yusniel Díaz proved he could hang at Double-A in just his second pro season. And now that he's in the Arizona Fall League, the results have been just as good competing against some of the Minors' top talent.
The Dodgers No. 5 prospect went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored as Glendale topped Mesa, 10-3, on Monday afternoon at Camelback Ranch.

Diaz began his afternoon with a double to left in the second before coming around to score on a single by Los Angeles' No. 8 prospect, Will Smith. The 21-year-old added an RBI single to left in the third and a leadoff single in the seventh.
It marked Diaz's third multi-hit game in his last four contests. MLB.com's No. 76 overall prospect boosted his AFL average to .306 with 10 RBIs in 16 games.
After beginning his career with Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga in 2016, the Cuba native returned to the California League to start 2017, but 83 games later, he moved to the Texas League. Diaz finished the campaign with a .333 average, three homers and 11 RBIs in 31 games with Double-A Tulsa.
Dodgers No. 17 prospect DJ Peters, who was named one of the system's Organization All-Stars earlier in the day, slugged his third homer and Mitchell Tolman (Pirates) knocked a grand slam for his first AFL jack.
