Louisville Redbirds Return to Slugger Field

This Friday and Saturday (June 10 and 11), the Louisville Bats will don the uniform of their predecessors, the Louisville Redbirds.

Redbirds merchandise will be available for fans to purchase in the team store starting on Friday night and will remain available while supplies last. The merchandise includes fitted hats, shirts, and crewnecks. A select number of the Redbirds jerseys will be auctioned off online, with the remaining to be sold in the team store.

The Redbirds nights will feature a whole slew of exciting promotions, including a Cardinal Stadium Replica giveaway to the first 2,000 fans and fireworks on both Friday and Saturday.

Friday night will be 80’s night, with the evening's game featuring 80's-themed music, graphics on the video board and in-game promotions, including $5 margaritas. Friday will also have two special ticket package offers: Friday Family Four Pack and Atrium Craft Beer packages. Friday will also be Girl Scouts Night and Southern Indiana Night.

Former big-leaguers and Louisville Redbirds Gene Roof and Jim Aducci will deliver the ceremonial first pitches before Saturday night’s game.

Saturday will be 90’s night, with the evening's game featuring 90's-themed music, graphics on the video board and in-game promotions, including $5 craft beers. Saturday will also be Play Ball Weekend and Party at the Park, with live music from DJ Kobi from 6-6:30 p.m. by the Miller Time Taphouse in center field.
