The Lansing Lugnuts announced the following roster changes, in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics:
- Outfielder Henry Bolte promoted to Midland (Double-A – Texas League)
- Infielder Sahid Valenzuela received from Midland
The updated Lansing roster has 26 active players, two players on the Injured List and one player on the Temporarily Inactive List.
The 20-year-old Bolte departs the Midwest League as the league leader in runs (60), doubles (19), extra-base hits (36) and total bases (138); tied for first in triples (6); second in RBIs (52); third in OPS (.912); fourth in slugging percentage (.519); tied for fourth in stolen bases (28); tied for fifth in home runs (11) and base hits (74); and tied for sixth in walks (41). In his final game with the Lugnuts, Saturday, he went 2-for-5 with a first-inning RBI triple off of Minor League Baseball’s No. 1 pitching prospect, Jackson Jobe.
