Lugnuts' Glaude and Smith promoted

Romanin joins Nuts from Vancouver

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, the Lansing Lugnuts announced Tuesday that pitcher Griffin Glaude has been promoted to Double-A New Hampshire, catcher Ridge Smith has been promoted to A-Advanced Dunedin, and infielder Mattingly Romanin was received from Short-Season A Vancouver.View the Lugnuts' official roster.

Smith, 22, hit for a .239 average with one home run and nine RBIs in 23 games with the Lugnuts.

Glaude, 25, recorded at least one strikeout in 14 of his 15 relief appearances, pitching to a 3-2 record with a 4.45 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 32 1/3 innings.

Romanin, 24, is the son of Toronto Blue Jays Manager of Baseball Information Mal Romanin. He was drafted in the 39th round in 2015 from Chicago State University. In 15 games with Vancouver, he batted .237 with a .442 on-base percentage thanks to nine hits, nine walks and five hit-by-pitches.

The Lugnuts' official roster currently has 25 active players with five players on the Disabled List.
