Following a ninth inning comeback, the LumberKings (17-16, 56-47) failed to record an out in the 10th as their losing streak reached four games.
Ray Kerr started for Clinton and was sharp in a seven-inning outing in which he allowed two runs on seven hits while walking three and striking out five.
The LumberKings scored the game's first run, taking a brief 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning.

Delaplane (4-1) failed to record an out in the 10th and picked up his first loss of the season. A free base runner, as per Minor League Baseball's extra inning rules, an error and walk loaded the bases for Ryan Jeffers who drew the game winning walk.
The loss is the LumberKings fourth straight and marks the first time they have been swept in a three games series in Cedar Rapids since May of 2013.
