Wappingers Falls, N.Y. (July 16, 2022) – The New York Yankees announced today their intention to promote OF Jasson Domínguez to High-A Hudson Valley following the All-Star Break next week. Dominguez is ranked as the No. 3 Yankees prospect and the No. 39 prospect in all of baseball by MLB.com.

Wappingers Falls, N.Y. (July 16, 2022) – The New York Yankees announced today their intention to promote OF Jasson Domínguez to High-A Hudson Valley following the All-Star Break next week. Dominguez is ranked as the No. 3 Yankees prospect and the No. 39 prospect in all of baseball by MLB.com.

“Jasson is a great kid who loves playing the game and is a joy to be around,” said Renegades manager Tyson Blaser. “I got to work with him all last year in the FCL and he comes ready to play every single day. You can obviously see his raw tools and his talent on display every single night. We are really excited to have him.”

Domínguez, 19, hit .266/.374/.440 in 75 games with Single-A Tampa to start the season. He was selected to participate in the Sirius/XM All-Star Futures Game at Dodger Stadium on July 16. He is slated to start and bat second for the American League team.

A native of the Esperanza, Dominican Republic, Domínguez was signed by the Yankees on July 2, 2019 for a franchise record $5.1 million bonus.

The Renegades come out of the All-Star Break with a three-game series at the Wilmington Blue Rocks from July 22-24, before returning home to face the Brooklyn Cyclones for a six-game set at Dutchess Stadium from on Tuesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 31.
