Matt Swarmer Leads Iowa in Triple-A Debut
NASHVILLE, TN - Matt Swarmer carried Iowa through seven scoreless innings in his Triple-A debut and the I-Cubs (62-64) downed the Nashville Sounds (60-66) 4-0, Saturday at First Tennessee Park. The victory gave Iowa its fifth shutout in five days.

Swarmer - added to Iowa's roster from Single-A South Bend today - was brilliant, allowing just five hits, walking one and fanning eight. He became just the second I-Cub in 10 years to spin seven or more innings in his Triple-A debut. Swarmer went home with the win for his efforts.
Iowa took the lead early with a three-run second inning.
