The Mets won game 1, 5-2. Fort Myers snapped a six-game losing streak with a 9-2 victory in game 2.

Mets starter
Cortes also walked twice. The homer was his team-high eighth of the season and his first long ball since June 12 at Clearwater.
In game 2, the Miracle raced out to a 7-0 lead over the first three innings against Mets starter
Szapucki pitched just three innings and allowed seven runs (five earned) while surrendering seven hits.
Reliever
Cortes provided the Mets with both of their runs on a two-run homer in the fourth inning against
Acosta got the win, limiting the Mets to two runs in five innings.
Miracle reliever

The Mets took two of three from the Miracle in the series. They have won three consecutive series and remain 2.0 games behind the Charlotte Stone Crabs for first place in the FSL South Division.
The Mets (31-17, 63-51) continue their seven-game home stand when they welcome the Daytona Tortugas to town for a four-game series starting Thursday. First pitch at First Data Field on Dollar Night is set for 6:30 p.m.
