SAN ANTONIO - Michael Knorr and Tyler Guilfoil teamed to hold San Antonio to four hits, but the Missions managed to scratch out a 3-1 win over the Hooks in Sunday afternoon's series finale at Wolff Stadium.
Knorr turned in his best Double-A start, striking out six against two walks over five shutout innings. After stranding four over the first two frames, the 24-year-old from Carlsbad, California retired 10 in a row to finish his outing.
The Missions managed two singles and two walks off Guilfoil in three innings. All three of the runs charged to him were unearned.
Corpus Christi netted its lone run in the seventh. Collin Price cracked a lead-off single to left and later scored on a two-out knock by Jordan Brewer.
In his fifth rehab game with the Hooks, Astros OF Chas McCormick went 2-for-4 with a double and stolen base.
