The complete game thrown by Moss (4-4, 3.82 ERA) helped Montgomery (58-50, 21-17 Second Half) stay ahead of Jackson (58-49, 19-19) in their season series, maintaining a 7-5 lead in head-to-head games won.
Moss, the 25-year-old right-hander, dealt nine innings with 106 pitches, allowing seven Jackson hits and one run without walking a batter.
