Naturals Finish Off Drillers with 9-8 Walk Off Win

With the win, the Naturals took the series 5-1 over Tulsa and head into a league-wide off day on Monday before starting a 12-game road trip on Tuesday.
After falling behind 7-2 through the first five innings, NWA stormed back in the sixth and seven, scoring three runs in each inning to take an 8-7 lead.
In the top of the eighth, Tulsa scored to even the game but the Naturals couldn't be stopped in the ninth. With one out, Diego Hernandez tripled to deep center field and Morgan McCullough was intentionally walked to put runners at the corners. Tresh lined a 1-1 pitch to left, driving in Hernandez to give the Naturals their fifth win of the week in a 9-8 walk-off victory to close out the series.
Tresh finished the day 3-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI to lead the team. Anderson Paulino earned the win after throwing 2.0 scoreless innings, striking out one.
Monday serves as a league-wide off day in the Texas League. The Naturals start a 12-game road trip on Tuesday with a 12:05 PM CT first pitch against the Arkansas Travelers at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock. After the six-game series, NWA continues their trip with six games at the Springfield Cardinals before returning home on August 8 for six games against the Wichita Wind Surge.
