Torres knocked a double to right in the fourth as he continues to hit to all fields. The Venezuela native bumped his slugging percentage to a career-best .475, leading to an .849 OPS in 27 Eastern League games.
Torres' blast made a winner of starter Yefry Ramirez (5-0). The 23-year-old right-hander is tied for the league lead with 41 strikeouts after working around two runs on two hits and two walks with seven punchouts in seven innings.
