Gleyber Torres' Triple-A debut featured a little bit of everything.
Two days after he was promoted from Double-A Trenton, the Yankees' top prospect singled and walked in four plate appearances in his first game with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, a 6-3 loss to Columbus at Huntington Park.

Gameday box score
Batting third and playing third base, MLB.com's No. 2 overall prospect struck out looking against Indians No. 15 prospect Adam Plutko after an eight-pitch at-bat in the first inning. In the fourth, he flied to center fielder and former Yankees top prospect Austin Jackson.
Facing reliever Cole Sulser to lead off the sixth, Torres fought off an inside pitch on an 0-1 count and blooped it into right field for his first hit at his new level.

With Yankees No. 2 prospect Clint Frazier at bat, the 20-year-old shortstop was caught trying to steal second. He swiped five bases in nine tries during his six-week stint in the Eastern League.
In the bottom of the inning, Torres committed a two-out error that allowed a run to score but recorded the fifth of his six assists at the hot corner. With Trenton, the Venezuela native played six games at third, five at second and 19 at shortstop.

Torres finished his International League debut with an eight-pitch walk against Joe Colon in the ninth.
The reigning Arizona Fall League MVP went 13-for-29 in 19 Grapefruit League games at Spring Training, then produced a .273/.367/.496 slash line with five homers and 18 RBIs with the Thunder before he was promoted on Sunday. He also spent a brief stint on the seven-day disabled list in April due to a shoulder injury.
Torres was acquired from the Cubs last July 25 in the trade that sent closer Aroldis Chapman to the eventual World Series champions.
