Noriega returns to Shuckers from Triple-A SkySox

BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Tuesday. INF Gabriel Noriega  has been transferred to Double-A Biloxi from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Tuesday. INF Gabriel Noriega  has been transferred to Double-A Biloxi from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Noriega, 26, comes to the Shuckers for his second Double-A stint of the season. He previously had a two-day stint with the Shuckers in early May, going 0-for-1. With the Sky Sox, Noriega batted .254 with four RBI in 33 games. The infielder also played in 71 games with the Shuckers in 2016, batting .267 with three home runs and 14 RBI.
Tuesday's move brings the current Shuckers roster to 25.

After an off day on Tuesday, the Shuckers hit the road on Wednesday to start a six-game series in Birmingham against the Barons. Corbin Burnes gets the start in the opener at 7:05 p.m. on the Biloxi Shuckers Radio Network's flagship station WGCM 1240 AM/100.9 FM and the TuneIn Radio app.
The Shuckers will return to MGM Park for an Independence Day celebration on Tuesday, July 4 at 6:35 pm and begin a five-game homestand against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
