Beloit, WI (June 16, 2018) - Every Clinton LumberKing starter either scored or drove in a run in a 9-4 win over the Beloit Snappers on Saturday night at Harry Pohlman Field. The win keeps the LumberKings (38-31) playoff hopes alive while snapping their longest losing streak of the season at five games.
Clinton raced out to an early lead against Snappers (32-36) starter Jared Poche.
Poche (2-5) would be chased from the game in the top of the second when the LumberKings offense exploded for six runs while sending 11 men to the plate in the inning.
The LumberKings tallied their final runs of the night in the top of the sixth. Boyd's third and final hit of the night started the two-run rally with Helder driving him in two batters later with a single.
The Snappers scored their first two runs of the night against LumberKings starter
