Palm Beach fell again to the Florida Fire Frogs, in another low scoring affair on Sunday, by a score of 2-1.
Cardinals' starter Evan Guillory allowed a single run his seven innings pitched. He allowed just five hits and struck out six.
However, the Cardinals could not give the 22-year-old any run support until they scored a solo run on a Danny Hudzina sacrifice fly in the home half of the seventh. Guillory would not earn a decision.
Florida would go ahead in the ninth for the third consecutive game against Palm Beach with a two strike, two out RBI single that would be the deciding run.
In all, just six Palm Beach hitters reached base with two coming from defensive errors by Florida. The Cardinals did not have a single base hit after the fourth inning.
Chase Pinder and J.B. Woodman were the two Cardinals' to record a hit.
The Cardinals hit the road for a seven game road-trip with stops at Ft. Myers and St. Lucie.
