OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers Baseball Foundation is partnering with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, whose mission is "Fighting Hunger…Feeding Hope," for the Foundation's 50/50 Raffle during tonight's OKC Dodgers game against the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Fifty percent of the money raised will go to tonight's 50/50 Raffle winner, while the Regional Food Bank and OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation will split the remaining 50 percent of the money raised to help further each organization's mission. Each 50/50 Raffle ticket sold tonight increases the amount of the jackpot and money raised for each organization.

"The mission of the Oklahoma City Dodgers Baseball Foundation is to impact the lives of families in the state of Oklahoma, and we are excited to be partnering with the Regional Food Bank during the 50/50 Raffle tonight, where a portion of the proceeds will go towards feeding hungry children," said Jill vanEgmond, Executive Director of the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation.
"One in four kids in Oklahoma lives with hunger and every $100 donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma feeds a child in a Food for Kids Program for an entire year, which includes the Summer Feeding Program," vanEgmond said. "The Summer Feeding Program provides free meals to students 18 and under at 130 sites across central and western Oklahoma because for many children, no school equals no food."
Participants in the 50/50 Raffle must be age 18 or older. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk in front of section 113 on the main concourse starting when gates open, and also from mobile ticket sellers who will be walking through each section of the ballpark until the first pitch of the seventh inning. Three tickets cost $5, while 10 tickets cost $10 and 60 tickets cost $20.
The winning ticket number will be announced at the top of the eighth inning and winning tickets should be presented to the 50/50 Raffle kiosk in front of section 113. The winning number can also be found at the Sonic Customer Service Booth, at okcdodgers.com and on the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation Facebook page.
Also during tonight's game, fans have the opportunity to donate via text message. Fans can text the word "FOOD" to 501501 to make a $10 donation to the Regional Food Bank.
The Dodgers continue their home series against the Round Rock Express at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Fireworks, presented by True Sky Credit Union, are scheduled to follow tonight's game.
Saturday is Oklahoma City 89ers Night and Dodgers players and coaches will wear special 89ers jerseys and hats. Their game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game via a silent auction to benefit the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a voucher for a complimentary Dodgers floor mat upon exit starting in the fifth inning.
The series wraps up at 1:05 p.m. on a Chaparral Family Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
OKC Dodgers tickets are available through the OKC Dodgers ticket office located on South Mickey Mantle Drive, by phone at (405) 218-2182, or by visiting okcdodgers.com.
