Michael Beltre (6) put the lone run of the night on the board with a solo home run to right field in the bottom of the third. It was Beltre’s third straight game with a home run.

Sean Boyle (5-4) was stellar in seven scoreless innings and struck out seven batters en route to the win. Ryan Watson (5-3) allowed an earned run in five frames of work to suffer the loss. Derek Craft (5) notched the save after he whiffed the final two batters of the game.
