- Payano worked six scoreless innings, yielding just two hits in the wake of his toughest start of the year last Saturday vs. Corpus Christi (1 2/3 IP, 9 H, 7 R/6 ER). He didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning.
- After the Riders scored twice in the top of the 1oth on RBIs from
Correlle Prime andJose Trevino , the Hooks plated three runs in the bottom of the frame to walk off with the victory. - The Riders grabbed a 1-0 lead on a RBI fielder's choice from
Michael O'Neill in the first and maintained the advantage until the ninth before the Hooks rallied to force extra innings.
