Three Peoria pitchers combined for a five-hit shutout to beat the Rattlers 3-0.

Friday night was the final game of Piña's four-game rehabilitation assignment for the Rattlers. He caught all nine innings on Friday. Piña went 3-for-13 with two RBI and a walk in his four games with Wisconsin.
Game two of the series is set for Saturday night at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
The Rattlers are hosting their first-ever Pride Night at the ballpark in conjunction with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Lakeland University on Saturday Night.
There will be a postgame fireworks display presented by Tundraland. After the fireworks, those 14 and under may run the bases courtesy of Meijer as part of a North Shore Bank Family Day with WIXX.
