With the score tied at 3 in the bottom of the ninth, with runners on first and second with two outs in the frame, a wild pitch from Yacksel Ríos allowed both runners to advance to scoring position. After reaching on a passed ball strike out, Stassi came all the way around and scored on yet another passed ball to tie the game in the top of the seventh.
