Campeche, Camp. (Prensa Piratas) 10 de marzo de 2023.- Serán 57 peloteros de los Piratas de Campeche los que han sido convocados para la pretemporada 2023 de la LMB, la cual estará iniciando el miércoles 15 de marzo a las 9 de la mañana, en el Estadio Nelson Barrera Romellón

El timón del barco lo tendrá Oswaldo Morejón, quién hará su debut como manager en el inicio de una campaña. Ya había dirigido interinamente en tres ocasiones a los Leones de Yucatán, en la campaña del 2017.
Los jugadores llamados son: Francisco Williams, José Luis Villaseñor, Juan Pablo Cabrera, Marco Antonio Avena, Usiel Valenzuela, Salvador Torres, todos ellos como catchers. Los dos primeros son campechanos.
Infielders: wl cubano Guillermo Aviles, Diego Madero, el joven cubano de 23 años de edad Edaín Román, Edgar Salazar, el mexico-americano Humberto Maldonado, Italo Motta, Jacob Barfield el texano, Josué Cano, el dominicano Luis “Lucho” Jiménez, Marco Guzmán Aguilar, Mario Iván Rosas, el cubano de 26 años, Rafael Fonseca, el novato sonorense Ronaldo Coronado y Sebastián Díaz.
Como outfielders han sido llamados el venezolano Carlos Tocci, Cristian Navarro, Francisco Ferreiro, José Lugo Armenta, Miguel Vázquez, Ramón Ramírez, el dominicano, Yeison Asencio, el campechano Yordi Martínez y los cubanos: Yudiel González y Yuniesky Larduet.
Entre los pitchers venezolanos, el zurdo Adrián Almeida, Carlos Navas y Léster Oliveros; y los estadounidenses: Matt Solter y Mckenzie Mills.
Además de Francisco Haro, Angel Ortiz, Antonio Garzón, Daniel Flores, Daniel Zazueta, Felipe Hernández, Héctor Villalobos, Irvin Machuca, Jaime Lugo, Jesús Alcántar, Jesús Adrián Castillo, Jonathan López, Jovany López, el mexico-americano Kyle Lazcano, el campechano Luis Castillo Chuc, Luis Enrique Pérez Ruiz, Luis Ángel Verdugo, Manuel Flores, el campechano Martín Noh Bolívar, Miguel Espinosa y Ulises López.
El cuerpo técnico está conformado por Oswldo Morejón, quien será el manager. Raúl Sánchez, coach de banca, el cubano Joan Pedroso el coach de bateo. Luis Fernando Méndez coach de pitcheo, Benjamín Sandoval Mijangos coach de bullpen. Marco Antonio Guzmán coach de tercera base, Erick Sandoval coach de primera.
El trainer será el venezolano Erick Fariñas. Como Fisioterapeutas: Miguel Arenas, Edwin Sánchez y Elías Pecheco. Los batboys: Francisco Acevedo y los campechanos: Jorge “Triki” y Héctor Becerra Polanco.
