Portland Takes Another One In Somerset
Bridgewater, New Jersey- The Portland Sea Dogs (52-34) defeated the Somerset Patriots (52-35) 4-1 before 5,773 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Friday night.

Clint Frazier began his Double-A rehab in Somerset and finished 1-for-3 with a single and a walk.
The Sea Dogs got on the board in the first on a run scoring error and Roldani Baldwin followed with a solo home run (3) in the second.
Portland took a 3-0 lead in the fourth on an RBI single by Tanner Nishioka before Somerset’s Dermis Garcia sent a moonshot into the night for his league leading 23rd home run in the bottom of the frame.

Hunter Potts’ RBI double in the eighth was the final run of the night.
Victor Santos (W, 3-2) gave up an earned run on three hits and struck out three in five innings pitched. Luis Medina (L, 3-2) allowed three runs- two earned- on five hits and three strikeouts over five innings. Jose Disla (S, 2) closed out the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
Somerset and Portland continue the series at TD Bank Ballpark with a 7:05 pm game on Saturday night.
