On this very special All-Star Break edition of the ‘Power Alley Podcast’ the Voice of the Bisons Pat Malacaro chats with Kelly Candaele.

Kelly is not only the brother of now former Bisons manager Casey Candaele, but also the person who created the documentary titled ‘A League of Their Own’ that would eventually be made into the screenplay for the movie that we have come to enjoy for the last 30 years.

The two discuss the background behind the making of the documentary, and the connection between their mother Helen Callaghan Candaele and her sister Marge Callaghan that serve as the focal point of the storyline in movie adaptation.

Kelly also offers an interesting discussion on whether in the movie Dottie Hinson dropped the ball in a play at the plate against her sister Kit on purpose or not. The two chat about just what that would mean in the real world and among athletes, in addition to what it means for the relationship between the two fictitious sisters.

Check out the latest edition of the ‘Power Alley Podcast’ for this interesting discussion, in addition to so much more right now!
