Potomac Nationals Unleash 2018 Promotional Schedule

Woodbridge, VA---Fresh off of a season in which the Potomac Nationals garnered the Carolina League's Marketing & Promotional Excellence Award, the P-Nats have once again upped the ante with a 2018 promotional schedule which will take Red, White, and Blue entertainment to new heights!
The P-Nats' 2018 promo slate features one-of-a-kind premium promotions including eight bobblehead giveaways, show-stopping celebrity appearances amidst the 2018 Legends Autograph Series, creative theme nights, special events, on-field, game-used, autographed theme jersey auctions, and so much more to make up the best promotional schedule in all of Minor League Baseball.

In 2018, Pfitzner Stadium, the top family-friendly affordable entertainment venue in the Northern Virginia region, will host an expansive ledger of unique promos courtesy of P-Nats Baseball.
Showcased will be the best bobblehead lineup in all of professional baseball, never-before-seen custom theme jerseys, and larger-than-life theme nights and special events to complement 16 fireworks shows that will light up the entire Woodbridge night sky.
The P-Nats' 2018 promotional schedule will set the bar for pinnacle Minor League Baseball originality and entertainment.
On tap for 2018 is a star-studded lineup of seven celebrity autograph/meet-and-greet appearance dates, additional premium giveaway items, and comprehensive motion picture anniversaries to honor the openings of Bull Durham (1988), The Sandlot (1993), Grease (1978), Jurassic Park (1993), Coneheads (1993), and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) plus Kentucky Derby Day, Stranger Things Night, Art in the Park Night, Cosmo Kramer Appreciation Night, four Scout Nights, the biggest and best Fourth of July Extravaganza in Northern Virginia, and many more first-class promotional concepts only found at The Pfitz.

Every Saturday night (11 games) at Pfitzner Stadium will feature a post-game fireworks show, while four select Friday evenings (May 25th, June 15th, July 27th, and August 24th) and the Fourth of July will also summon a fireworks show after the game.
After a terrific trio of celebrity appearances at The Pfitz in 2017, the P-Nats have increased the chance for fans to meet celebs from the sports, television, and film landscapes in 2018 as part of the P-Nats' 2018 Legends Autograph Series presented by Northwest Federal Credit Union. All celebrity autograph signings at Pfitzner Stadium are free to fans on a first-come, first-served basis. Celebrity autograph lines will begin as soon as the gates are open at The Pfitz on the select game dates.

Season after season, the P-Nats' bobblehead and statue giveaway lineup has outdone itself each year, and 2018 will be no different.
The most creative bobblehead giveaway roster in pro baseball will consist of eight bobblehead/statue giveaways throughout the 2018 campaign. All bobbleheads and the club's one statue giveaway will be available to the first 1,250 fans through the gates into Pfitzner Stadium.

In keeping with recent club tradition, all 2018 P-Nats mini plan, half-season, and full-season ticket holders are eligible to take home the 2018 Potomac Nationals Season Ticket Holder Gift, which will honor a past Potomac Baseball franchise legend.
In 2018, season ticket and mini plan holders will receive an Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Bobblehead.
Rodriguez is the only player in Potomac Baseball franchise history who after donning The Red, White, and Blue, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.

Custom theme jerseys will accompany nearly every premium theme night during the 2018 season for the P-Nats. A four-pack of Scout Nights in 2018 will allow Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to engage in pre-game festivities to include an on-field parade, enjoy a P-Nats game, and have the opportunity to catch post-game fireworks and camp out on the field at The Pfitz. Scout campers will enjoy a movie on the big screen outfield video board before they fall asleep under the stars. Scout Night dates in 2018 are: Saturday, June 23rd, Saturday, July 14th, Saturday, July 28th, and Saturday, August 4th.
The 2018 season will bring with it another rendition of Uncle Slam's Reading Program, the P-Nats hallmark, long-running community relations initiative program. School kids from around the Northern Virginia region are encouraged by Uncle Slam, the P-Nats' official mascot, to read books before P-Nats Opening Day 2018 on Thursday, April 5th, and as a reward, Uncle Slam invites those children to come out to a P-Nats game in 2018 for free! Uncle Slam's Reading Program participants may redeem their bookmarks as a school before four (4) select Reading Program dates, all of which are paired with a special theme, including:

Over the course of the season, the P-Nats will host three special day care/summer camp gamedays. On Monday, July 16th, Thursday, August 9th, and Thursday, August 16th, first pitch is scheduled for 12:05pm to accommodate local day care and summer camp kids who will head out to The Pfitz for "Splash Day," with water balloons and squirt guns in tow all game long!
For 2018, the P-Nats will host five special themed picnics, which can each be purchased as part of a loaded ticket. These loaded tickets will include a ticket to the game and to the pre-game all-you-can-eat picnic.

As part of the season-long "Famous Fridays" promotion, each Friday will feature a look at famous faces from professional sports, motion pictures, television, and other famous items from years past. The Potomac Nationals will host two (2) Recycling Pays dates, Friday, 7/13 and Friday, 8/24, presented by Prince William County Recycling Program, to encourage P-Nats fans to practice responsible recycling methods. P-Nats fans who use Twitter to tweet pictures of themselves recycling in advance of the first Recycling Pays Night will be rewarded with one (1) discounted $5 grandstand ticket for the night of the first Recycling Pays Night. All fans who then Tweet a picture of their recycling efforts during or after the first Recycling Pays Night will receive one (1) free grandstand ticket to the second Recycling Pays Night. P-Nats' recycling pictures will be featured on the outfield jumbo-tron video board at Pfitzner Stadium during both games.
