In his two previous starts, the ninth-ranked Tigers prospect allowed 11 runs over 9 1/3 innings. Back on the bump against Bowie, Faedo threw 62 of 93 pitches for strikes and piled up at least seven punchouts for the fourth time this season. Vientos, 19, is batting .376 with three big flies during the streak, which dates to May 14 and has boosted his overall slash line to .257/.312/.408 in 43 South Atlantic League games.
