Leading 7-1 in the eighth, Hamilton allowed two runs on three hits, but stranded the bases loaded, as the Giants made it a game at 7-3. Hamilton recovered to work a 1-2-3 ninth, helping Rancho win for the 14th time in 19 road games this year.
The Quakes (19-11) will look for their second road-sweep of the year on Sunday at 1:00pm, as they face the Giants in the series-finale.
