Rattlers Keep Hitting to Beat Kane County 9-2
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeated the Kane County Cougars 9-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The Rattlers banged out eleven hits en route to their fourth straight win.The Rattlers (17-18) took the lead in the bottom of the third inning.

The Rattlers used trickery to get their third run of the inning. Díaz broke from first on a pitch to the plate and drew a throw. He stayed in the rundown long enough for Castillo to break for the plate and score the run to make it 4-1.
Wisconsin's offense put the game away with five runs in the bottom of the sixth. Castillo drove in the first run of the inning with a grounder. A two-out error on a grounder off the bat of Díaz let in another run. Then, Howell doubled to right-center and Díaz scored. That knocked Kane County starting pitcher

Wisconsin has reached double digits in hits in their last three games and in four of their last five contests. Jesús Lujano had three hits in Tuesday's game. It was his second straight three-hit game.
The four-game winning streak is the first of the season for Wisconsin as they have pulled back to within one game of the .500 mark.
The Timber Rattlers host the Cougars in the final game of the series on Wednesday night.
