It was another pitcher's duel at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday night. After a 1 hour, 45 minute rain delay the Pigs and Bisons traded zeros through the first 5 1/2 innings. Cole Irvin (3-1) tossed seven scoreless innings in the Pigs' 1-0 win.

Irvin was dominant once again, allowing just two hits and striking out eight. He retired the final 11 batters he faced including four straight strikeouts to end his outing.
The Pigs had a tough time getting to Justin Dillon (0-1) who made his first career start above High-A. Dillon looked like a seasoned veteran as he struck out a career-high 10 batters and allowed just three hits and an unearned run in the ball game.
The Pigs were finally able to crack the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth. After being held to just two hits in the ballgame, Alexi Amarista led off with a single against Dillon who hadn't allowed a base runner to reach scoring position.
After pulling back on attempted sacrifice bunts, Dean Anna hit a swinging bunt in front of home plate. Bisons' catcher Danny Jansen fielded it and fired it to first base where it broke the glove of first basemen Jason Leblebijian and rolled all the way down the right-field line. Amarista came all the way around to score and put the Pigs up 1-0.
Hoby Milner and Pedro Beato (11) tossed the final two innings of the game to complete the shutout. The Pigs now have a season-high six-game winning streak and they go for a four-game sweep, and perfect 7-0 homestand tomorrow afternoon.
