BlueClaws Win Third Straight, 4-2 Over Winston-Salem on Thursday Night
JERSEY SHORE, NJ - BlueClaws pitchers have combined to allow just three runs in the first three games of their series with Winston-Salem, so it's no surprise they are 3-0. Thursday, four pitchers combined to give up just two runs in a 4-2 win over the Dash at FirstEnergy Park.

Jersey Shore (7-8) has now won three in a row while the Dash (7-8) fall back under .500.
Dominic Pipkin threw three scoreless innings for the BlueClaws. Andrew Brown (1-0) came on in the fourth and threw two scoreless innings to earn the win.
The BlueClaws opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning. With two out, Keaton Greenwalt singled to center to bring home Jhailyn Ortiz and put the BlueClaws up 1-0.
Jersey Shore added two runs in the fifth inning to extend the lead. Hunter Markwardt's RBI single brought home Nate Fassnacht, and in the process extended Markwardt's hitting streak to seven games. Logan O'Hoppe added an RBI single on an infield grounder up the first base line to put the BlueClaws up 3-0.
Jersey Shore extended the lead in the eighth inning on a SAC fly by Vito Friscia.
Winston-Salem tried to mount a rally in the ninth inning. Two reached off reliever Jack Perkins with one out and Aneurys Zabala came on. After allowing a SAC fly to Evan Skoug and an RBI single to Yolbert Sanchez, he struck out Bryce Bush to end the game and preserve the 4-2 Jersey Shore victory.
Jack Perkins was charged with two runs in 3.1 innings in relief.
Dash starter Isaiah Carranza (1-2) took the loss, allowing three runs in four innings of work.
