MEMPHIS, Tennessee - The Memphis Redbirds jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for a 6-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas (Padres) in Game 1 of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.

The Redbirds are two wins from their first PCL title since 2009. The best-of-five series continues tomorrow at 12:05 p.m. at AutoZone Park before shifting to El Paso Friday-Sunday.
