Redmond hit for the home run cycle with a solo home run, a two-run blast, a three-run shot and a grand slam, just the second known home run cycle in professional baseball history (more info below). Springfield also set team records with eight home runs and 21 runs in the game.

Notables:
1B Chandler Redmond finished his record-setting night 5x6 with four home runs and 11 RBIs... He hit all four of his home runs in four-straight innings, connecting on his two-run home run in the 5th, his grand slam in the 6th, his solo blast in the 7th and his three-run bomb in the 8th... The only other known home run cycle in professional baseball history was hit by Tyrone Horne of the Arkansas Travelers in 1998, who was also a Cardinals Double-A prospect... CF Jordan Walker (two-run in 7th), LF Matt Koperniak (solo in 7th), RF Justin Toerner (solo in 7th) and SS Masyn Winn (two-run in 8th) also all went yard, rounding out the Cardinals team-record-setting eight home runs on the night.
