With one away in the seventh, Jamie Ritchie notched an infield single and Bobby Boyd followed with a home run to right field. Boyd's two-run shot ended Juardo's (4-3) night.

Of the Hooks' nine hits, five came in the seventh and eighth. Corpus Christi (20-22) stranded two in each inning.
The Riders netted their first two runs in the opening frame. Singles by Scott Heineman and Jose Cardona began the inning. A ground ball put the pair in scoring position, and Heineman scored on a wild pitch by Cy Sneed. Two outs later, Eric Aguilera hit an RBI opposite field single into left.
Frisco added three more in the third. Isiah Kiner-Falefa's infield single and a walk to Eric Aguilera started the rally. Juremi Profar was next and sent an RBI safety up the middle. A throwing error by first baseman Jon Singleton allowed Aguilera to score, and Michael De Leon capped the frame with a RBI knock into right field, putting the Riders ahead 5-0
Riley Ferrell, who relieved Sneed (2-4) in the fourth, surrendered the lone Frisco extra-base hit. Profar drove the initial pitch of the fifth into the right field corner for his first triple of the year. De Leon cashed in with a sacrifice fly.
Brock Dykxhoorn navigated past three hits and two walks to complete three scoreless innings.
Drew Ferguson, who went 2-for-5, extended his hit streak to 17 games, the fourth-longest in Hooks history.
Akeem Bostick (1-1, 8.44) is slated to pitch for Corpus Christi Sunday afternoon. David Ledbetter (1-0, 3.60) gets the start for Frisco. First pitch is 4:05.
