The Somerset Patriots overcame an early 3-0 deficit to take down the Altoona Curve by a score of 8-4 in the first of a six games series at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday night.
The Patriots put together 10+ hits for the fourth time over their last six games and struck out 10+ for the eighth straight game. Somerset extended its win streak to five games, over which they have outscored opponents 41-17. Their +63 run differential this season leads the Eastern League.
