In the fourth the Renegades took the lead when Kyle Battle singled and Roc Riggio walked before a wild pitch advanced the runners. Sacrifice flies from Serna and Jace Avina made it 2-0 Renegades. Rafael Flores later singled home Cole Gabrielson to add a third run.

Aberdeen struck in the sixth when Douglas Hodo walked and Maxwell Costes singled to put runners at first and third, and an Enrique Bradfield sacrifice fly scored Hodo. Tavian Josenberger then singled and Mac Horvath walked to load the bases. Matthew Etzel knocked in Costes and Josenberger with a single to tie the score.

Serna led off the decisive bottom of the sixth with a home run to right. An Avina single and Gabrielson double put runners at second and third, and Avina scored on a wild pitch. Martinez then hit a two-run homer to right to bring home Gabrielson. With the bases empty, Flores singled and Josh Moylan was hit by a pitch. A Riggio RBI knock scored Flores and Moylan. A Serna single later scored Riggio, making it 10-3 Hudson Valley.
