Reno Aces Announce 2023 Opening Day Roster

RENO, Nev. – As the Reno Aces begin their Pacific Coast League title defense in the 2023 season opener against the Las Vegas Aviators, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, at Greater Nevada Field later today, fans will enjoy a mix of familiar faces and newcomers donning the Aces’ uniform as the club announced its Opening Day roster.
Reno’s roster includes 14 players that were members of last year’s championship-winning team, featuring Arizona Diamondbacks Organizational Pitcher of the Year, Brandon Pfaadt, and Pacific Coast League Championship Game MVP, infielder Jake Hager.
Aces manager Blake Lalli will have a talent-rich roster of 17 players with MLB experience, highlighted by nine members of the Arizona Diamondbacks’ 40-man roster.
The Biggest Little City’s nine have five team members that participated in the 2023 World Baseball Classic earlier this spring and represented three countries; Italy (Dominic Fletcher, Dominic Miroglio, Mitchell Stumpo), Puerto Rico (Emmanuel Rivera), and Venezuela (Endrys Briceno).
According to MLB Pipeline, the Aces also have one of Major League Baseball’s Top 100 prospects and seven of Arizona’s Top 22 Prospects.
